Booking terms for guests

BHRC – British Hotel Reservation Centre (“BHRC”) operates an online marketplace through which you can book accommodation provided by independent hotels and accommodation providers (“Properties”) in the United Kingdom. Your accommodation contract is with the Property; BHRC arranges the booking and collects payment.

Prices: the total price shown before payment is the amount you will pay, in pounds sterling (GBP), including VAT where applicable. Any optional extras or local charges payable at the Property are disclosed on the property page.

Payment: payment is taken in full when you book, processed securely by Stripe. BHRC does not store card details.

Cancellation: each rate has its own cancellation policy, shown before payment and in your confirmation. Accommodation bookings for specific dates are generally exempt from the 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (regulation 28(1)(b)); your rights are as set out in the rate’s policy.

No-shows are charged the full amount. If a Property cannot honour your booking we will refund you in full and help you find alternative accommodation.
